As I stated the majority of men do NOT need viagra...so what if there is a profit...just show they are taking it like candy and there is abuse.......even teens and 20ty somethings

Perhaps the majority of men do not need Viagra, but statistically most men who are older in age are unable to achieve and sustain the kind of erection that they had in their younger years, in exactly the same manner that most women do not get as 'wet' as they used to in their younger years. Biologically men produce less testosterone as they get older, and if one mixes this with a less active lifestyle, and a few extra pounds something has to give, unfortunately usually it is the penis. This is not to say most men cannot get an erection, rather that it requires more effort to both get one and maintain it. This is where the Viagra helps. Sex becomes far more enjoyable to both parties if one is not in fear of losing their erection due to a couple minutes of lack of stimulation or a leg cramp, or a whole host of other things. I like to compare Viagra to Astroglide. It might not be necessary, but both people can enjoy the benefits of it as a tool to enhance their love life.

BTW, having used it a few times myself, I DARE anyone to 'take it like candy', especially at $20/pill or so. The effects of one pill are remarkable for a person who requires it, the thought of taking several could be catastrophic.

What the research is coming out with men do not want to grow old....that viagra is causing problems within marriages and that women are feeling uncomfortable with the situations that they are being put in. Just because the company say that this will bring you closer to your wife does not mean that is what happening....... Also teens and young adults are also using it....When I say like candy, I mean a person who really does not need it, takes it every time they have sex.......

For an older gentle man $20 is nothing....They spend more than that at the casino...

What I found interesting was comparing Viagra for men like Botox for women.....for the older generation......We all do not want to grow old and yet it will happen....What are we doing to the younger generation when young teens feel the need to be on viagra or young men or even young women feel the need for Botox...

It is not that men don't want to grow old, (speaking for myself here), it is the medical and physical problems that are associated with it. I don't like the fact that my body hurts now, that I'm not as strong as I once was, that I am more inept in sports and get my ass kicked in them by the younger kids, that I have to pee more often, that I don't sleep as well, and yes... that my erection is not as powerful as it once was. Further, North American society values youth and vitality, and advertisement after advertisement is geared towards that. It can be a hard realization when one finally comes to learn that they are no longer able to go to a bar and pick up the college girl like they once were able to. On the other hand, many Asian societies place a great value on the elderly and the wisdom they contain, which makes it easier for both men and women to age without regret.

If either the husband or the wife does not feel like sex, that is based on their interpersonal relationship. If both of them feel like sex and it is not possible, that is due to genetics or age creeping in. Big difference. To knock Viagra because it allows willing couples to retain a very important part of their lives, well that's just silly.

Playa Playa Playa, you're trying to use logic and we both know that's like trying to teach algebra to a brick.....

I believe her big "schtick" is that people are using it who don't really "need" it....(I think).....I guess she's against alcohol, because people don't really "need" it, and she must be against botox, because women don't really "need" it, and plastic surgery, because people don't really "need" it, and lipitor, because people should just DIE from heart disease.....

I guess the only drugs she's for are HER drugs......

So bliss, what's your point? That they should stop selling it because some people abuse it? Some people take it who don't really need it? What? Do you even KNOW what your point is??? Do you even HAVE a point????

Going back to another comment you made. At $17-20 a pop with the side effects its well worth it but only once a week for me.

According to bliss, teenagers are popping these things like candy.....first question: how the hell can teenagers afford $20 a piece candy? Especially with V, the effects only last a few hours.....that's kind of pricey candy IMO!!!

It looks promising but according to Wiki, development was discontinued in 2010 due to a negative report from the USDA.

One thing that caught my attention was this...in this article some researchers seemed concerned that a horny pill for women might not address underlying emotional/psychological reasons for low libido. Does anyone worry that viagra might do the same for men? Or is it considered to be only women who are vulnerable to non-physical reasons for not wanting sex?

If something like this were approved here, I'd pop it like candy whether I needed it or not. :anangel:

Men? non-physical reasons? Is there such a thing? lol.....

personally, I think as soon as they get it approved, they should remove fluoride from the drinking water supply and add this ...:wink:just think of how much money guys would save by not having to buy flowers, chocolates, lobster dinners, movies, etc etc etc

LOL, there's a comedian who does a great bit about this, about how men buy things like houses and nice cars to impress women..."if a guy could get laid living in a cardboard box, no men would own houses"...have you considered the potentially catastrophic economic fallout?

No men buying houses, fancy cars, jewelry, restaurant meals, soap, toothpaste, razors...it could be quite devastating. :rofl!:

Yeah, but we'd just move our spending to other things like Big ass tvs, tools, man caves, surround sound home theatre systems, did I mention tools? You know, the really important things

But you do have a point, when he's single, a guy I know spends 90% of his energy, and income, on buying things to impress or "get" women. I mean, he had a 12' wide closet just for shirts......

Hey, I just had a thought. If we put horny pills in the water and make women as horny as men, would it cause women to have to start making the effort to get men? Some sort of massive societal power shift? :dontknow:
