I've been slacking, I know. But with the holidays and birthday madness out of the way, I thought you guys might like to see Nikki Thomas', our very own TGirl Nikki, debate sex worker rights with Michael Coren.




It's a surprisingly civil and comprehensive debate, IMO, which is especially shocking since it's Sun.

I think she handled herself very well. She did look a little nervous in the beginning but gave very good points.

She improved tremendously from the last debate that was posted on here.

Nikki if you still come here, please if I may give you a suggestion.

Remember who ever asked questions inevitably controls the direction and flow of the conversation.

What he was trying to do with you was lead you like a lamb going to slaughter.

However if you shoot questions back at him you can in fact do the leading.

At the very least you will throw him off his agenda and be more comfortable being interviewed.

She handled herself well against an old pro at the game and she'll get better with experience.

Sometimes when you try to take control of a conversation you'll end up looking manipulative and combatative, it's a tough juggling act.

Cool interview. Her first answer seemed to be very rehearsed/reading a script, but the rest were really good.

I don't think he knows that Nikki is a T-Girl, judging by his mom/daughter questions.

I think the problem with most people who never been exposed to the business is when they heard the word prostitute(and its variance), they're thinking of street walkers (which are the most vulnerable and least safe). I'm interested in the percentage numbers of street walkers vs. agency/independent girls with an incall location.

I worry all this talk is going to lead to new more restrictive laws passed by a right wing federal government.

I'm sure he knew Nikki was a t-girl, I think his questions were designed to playfully trip her up a bit.
Coren is a worldly guy that has seen a lot in his life.
