The keys are copy of what is on the site too. And she said in her reply to Riley that after speaking with her webmaster, the choice was made not to remove them keys in the BP ad. After coming here, she decided to do the right thing and remove them. {or so she said, seems they are still up there, but on older ads} That to me seems like she is taking the word of her webmaster who in my opinion is not doing a good job.

I write ads all the time. I do that by written the words to the site and it is copy and pasted as an ad. I have a standard FAQ that I have written, I have a standard Policy section I have written, it gets tweaked a bit per client's needs, but most clients tell me about them, then I make the write ups and they use them in their ad.

And what her webmaster did is not fraud, he is just a tool who is clearly not a pro.

I can say that if she decided to re-neg on her word of removing the names from key words, then I will remove my offer of a free site. I still see some names being used as of Feb 25. Not Riley's, but why keep any names at all????

Could be very true. I know there are plenty of them out there. She could be feeding us a line about the "webmaster" and put the site up herself. Who knows?

I am trying to her give the benefit of the doubt only because I know a lot of fakes in the "web-design" world.

Now that you mention it, I think that is what we should find out first as it is clearly the most important issue. There is something seriously wrong with someone if they don't like chili!

Yeah well, there's that.....but like what happened to the US in vietnam: play by "the rules" and waste the lives of thousands of americans and accomplish nothing. Now I'm not saying (like many large corporations do) "profit at any cost" but simply being 100% upfront, honest, and trustworthy gets you nothing but pride.....

Oh and yes, it does get hard to look at yourself in the mirror when time and time again, your integrity is called into question and people (not all) continually accuse you of wrongdoing. I say it gets hard to look at yourself and not say "you fool"........

...so true. I m currently at this job giving it all while others are grossly incompetent. Yet they continue to reap benefits and praises from others. SO lame.....like one of my colleagues said to me...why work yourself to death as you wont get a gold watch for it. I am like...heck I ll buy my own gold watch!

Of course I look at myself in the mirror and say....I have my pride...but at what cost? Perhaps its all an illusion.

Yup, you might just have to...oh and learn how to pucker up and kiss some serious ass. Long gone are the days when dedication and hard work paid off.......a prime example: My second to last "job", they hired an outsider to be us project managers "supervisor" and all the other PMs would come to me if they had problems or questions. Then the upper ups got wind of this and they were told to go to the FNG. So they did.

And when he told them something wrong, they'd come to me to confirm what the right thing to do was.....lol......

It isn't materialism to want to be able to pay rent/mortgage/car.....or even this optional item, like this thing called food.....

BTW: I bet people who work for banks sleep just fine yet banks and their employees are the NUMBER one guilty party when it comes to fucking people as often and as hard as they legally can. To the point where they can even fuck themselves (aka the current economic problems in the US) and still go to bed with billions of dollars in their pockets......

The way our economy was explained to me (in very simple terms):

The "market" is not limitless, it grows yes but lately not by much. Therefore there is only so much "money" in the market. In order to get your fair share, you have to take it. Those who play by the rules, and have integrity, and play nicey nice, get a small share. Those who bend or break the rules, play hardball, get the lion's share.

I heard this term from a radio commentary a few weeks ago and it really hit home: He coined the phrase "profit at any cost" and that's what is happening to our society. He was warning big companies about what I've been preaching all along: if they're not careful, there will be a revolution. This includes politicians and our governments who have no problem out and out lying to the general public.

I mean really, how many times have we discussed the legal system and how there are one set of rules for the rich and one for the rest of us?
