Ijust got fucked silly by a new sp , wellnew for me, and tonite out to dinner with a japanese babe.Tomorrow Pearl Jam.It fun being unemployed!!!
 
Cabbagetown festival was today. Off to a special woman's place to spend the night, then tomorrow go shoot some more pictures.

I probably did see you, though I have no idea at all who you were. I did not get a chance to try the coffee, unfortunately I forgot all about it. Damn! I did buy some really cool art though.

Brushes and paint may have been put down long ago, but the work is not complete until someone shows appreciation by putting their money down and giving it a home for constant companionship.

PearlJam did a killer show with NeilYoung popping in as a surprise for a really intense 15min barnburner of a jam on the encore of his "Rockin in the Free World .the place went crazy.So glad I went:drunk:

I couldn't agree more. I spent several years as a musician playing the Toronto clubs, and still see local talent whenever I am able. I will say though, at yesterday's festival, I was surprised to see how many great local artists there were, and even more surprised how many people try to pass their SHIT off as art. One crazy broad tried to pass off a black smudge on an oversize canvass for $600. My daughter who is 9 asked if her grandchild painted it, the artist got soooo offended, then explained my daughter that she had no idea of what art was. My daughter looked at her and said, "I can paint better, mine don't look like crap." Fuck I laughed.
