Whitney Houston was one of the best Female vocalist in the 1980's and 1990's, but afterwards she allowed her drug use to cripple what was such a promising career. It is such a tragedy that she died so young, but her music will live forever.

I'm with you player, I'll reserve my sympathy for those who deserve it. It really is a shame however that someone so talented could be so blinded and fall into the drug habits. Yeah, I blame it on the douche Brown but still, no one put a gun to her head and forced her to be with him. I saw a youtube video of one of her latest concerts and she couldn't sing worth shit anymore. But man, when she had her voice? That woman could SING. She is the reference point I use for those who talk about going into Canadian Idol. I said that to my niece who was seriously going to try out. I simply said "can you sing like whitney houston? No? well then how about you work on your GED instead...."....

That's true, and from today's story on her death she is quoted as saying "you love who you love" which is complete bullshit. People who have no control over their emotions or their intellect say things like this to excuse their behaviour. I tell you, I've loved women with every fibre of my being but if I saw them pull out a crack pipe?
