Everytime I see this, it breaks my heart. It also reminds me to hug my babies tight.

I hate to insinuate that this story isn't 100% true...but.....I watched the video and while the dog did walk with the one giving the speech to the front, it didn't appear to do so on it's own accord. It walked beside the person.

Now as sentimental as it is, and as much as we wish it to be true, the dog simply lay down at the front of the church. It's not like it was pawing at the casket trying to get to it's owner.

Tboy, not everything is in black and white. Sometimes us as people want to believe a lie just to make us feel good. Politics, sports, the market all and etc... is just a game for the hardship people. You may be right but what is wrong to believe there is a good story we can tell our kids one day. Even though it is not all true.

Happy endings in movies suck but in real life it brings many happy faces, smiles and hope.

Just my 2 cents.

Wow! Your ability to see the negative in EVERYTHING is mind boggling. The loss of this incredible human being has devasted his family, his friends, his country and yes even his dog even if you choose not to see it. Tboy, I'm sure you dont want my pity, but after the few posts I've read of yours, you have it. I have never known someone who's outlook on people and life is so jaded.

3, you hit the nail on what ever it is called. Late at night but will say that Sentry is one lucky man.

To you Tboy. Enjoy life as it is too short. Your intellect IQ is above most but hell, your sensitivity is not.

Get yourself a dog and you will know. Even better a kid.

Really, stick around to see how wrong that statement is.

Is this the bash Tboy thread or why one would choose a dog thread? Let me put a little twist to this thread and guide it away from the emotional tugs on the heart string to the more practical ways of how to choose a dog.

I choose a dog based on it's interaction with the rest of it's litter. Here are some good tips that I have followed and have worked for me. I have had some great companions throughout the years.

-I like the active pups and avoid the dominant and overbearing ones.
-I tend to choose the ones that come to me with their head held high and tail wagging with excitement, never the ones that show signs of fear,
-I always pay special attention to the pups eyes, ears, gums, teeth and rear end. You want to see bright eyes, a shiny and clean coat, and no sign of any discharge or debris from any of their orifices.

Bunch of drama queens!

To Tboy, speak your mind man, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone it is just your POV, no biggie.

Wow! Your ability to see the negative in EVERYTHING is mind boggling. ......

Sorry, it isn't negative, it is a dose of reality. If people choose to live in a dream world, so be it. I prefer to live in the real world....Just remember while you're imagining the deeper meaning of a dog laying down at the front of a church, those imagined "miracles" also fuel religious wars, murdered doctors, the ridicule of women seeking abortions , and many other negative impacts on our society......food for thought.

BTW: this is no different than people who see the "miracle" of the holy mary appearing in a grilled cheese sandwich.......

In his honor, touching.
