Fucken Cowards.

A teenage Czech couple was out for an evening stroll in Duchcov, a small Czech town of 9,000. Suddenly a mob of Gypsy immigrants pounces on them. The attackers included both men and women. The attack appears to have been solely motivated by racial hatred.
A blonde haired female victims is knocked down and brutally assaulted while laying on the ground. Her boyfriend rushes the attackers with a large stick to get them to back off. Yet, the Gypsies mass and charge for a second assault.
The authorities banned the public from seeing the surveillance video, but part of the video was leaked.

But that's the nature of privatization, which Tory governments love so much. Call it instant gratification. Cash in the coffers which looks good on today's spread sheets. Fuck the future generations.
There are of course equally valid opposing opinions. Governments are notoriously poor managers squandering money left right and centre. The LCBO is the prime example of that. If the Liberals were still running the 407 we would be on scandal #3, CEO #5, it would still be costing us money and we would have half finished off-ramps cancelled during elections because they dump traffic in hotly contested ridings.

[FONT=arial !important]Marcelles Peter (left) and Jose Montano (right) are on trial for the brutal gang-rape of a 16-year-old girl after her high school homecoming dance
MARTINEZ, Calif. — A twisted rapist telephoned the victim’s dad and sadistically boasted about the sexual assault happening on his end of the line, according to shocking testimony heard in California.

Two men are on trial in Contra Costa County, accused in a horrific gang rape of a 16-year-old girl who was brutalized outside her high school homecoming dance.
The victim’s dad - identified only as John Doe to protect his daughter’s identity - told jurors yesterday that he was on his way to Richmond HS, about 18 miles northeast of San Francisco, to pick up his daughter when he received a call from her cell phone.

A male voice described, in vulgar terms, what was happening to his daughter. The dad said he wanted to believe the call was a sick prank.
“I’m envisioning it and it was a horror,” the dad told jurors.
Jose Montano, 22, of Richmond and Marcelles Peter, 20, of Pinole are both charged with forcible rape, rape by foreign object and forced oral copulation. If convicted, they face life sentences.

The shocking gang rape could have involved up to 20 men who also punched, dragged, and urinated on the victim, Deputy DA John Cope said.
Montano and Peter are the first of six men initially charged to face trial. Two others are awaiting trial while two more took plea bargains.

When the victim’s dad rolled up to the school, he saw police cars screaming past him before he spotted his badly injured daughter. The dad told jurors he could barely recognize his daughter on the paramedic’s gurney.

"Her face was distorted, no longer round," he said. "Ashen, gray, pale, clammy. She seemed to me on Death Row."
Under cross examination, the emotional dad recounted how he told his little girl, "that we loved her and for her to hold on."
Prosecutor Cope has told jurors the cops were called to the school when they found the drunk, incoherent girl with her body scratched, bruised and almost completely nude.

The defense claims authorities don’t have enough evidence to tie their clients to the disgusting assault.
The men are being tried together, but in front of two separate juries. They’ll hear the same evidence but deliberate in two different rooms, each weighing the fate of one defendant.

Montano's DNA was found on a nearby condom wrapper and can of alcohol - but not on the victim, cops said.
The victim is expected to testify in this trial, but Cope said she doesn’t remember the attack.

A teenage girl ‘died instantly’ when she was sliced in two by a shark while snorkelling near the beach on a paradise island in the Indian Ocean.
The 15-year-old, who lives on the French mainland, was less than 15 feet (five metres) from the shore of the island of Reunion, located off the coast of Madagascar, when the savage attack took place. Her terrified sister was among those who saw the girl schoolgirl disappear under the water at around 3pm today.

The teenager's body was sliced in two at the torso, and then ‘a part of her body was taken away by the shark,’ said a said Gina Hoarau, the head of public safety on the island.
She added: ‘The girls were in an area of St Paul bay where swimming is not allowed. She would have died instantly.

'The operation to recover the upper part of her body is ongoing.'

Huguette Bello, the mayor of St Paul, said: ‘The girl, who was 15, came from mainland France and spent her holidays on the island. ‘She was staying on the island with her father, who is in charge of the yacht club in St Paul. 'Both of the girls had masks and snorkels on, and were swimming just in front of the Bay restaurant.’

Mr Bello said it was the first time ‘in a long time’ that a shark had attacked swimmers so close to the beach. There have been recent attacks on surfers, but it is highly unusual for sharks to come so close to the water’s edge. The area around the restaurant was immediately closed to holidaymakers as the hunt started for the killer shark. In May a French honeymooner was attacked and killed by a shark while he was surfing not far from the beach on Reunion, which is in the Indian Ocean. The 36-year-old was in the sea off the popular beach of Brisants de Saint-Gilles when a shark charged at him twice, prompting a nearby swimmer to raise the alert when he saw blood on the water.

Lifeguards jumped in the water to fetch the victim, who had lost a lot of blood and was in cardiac and respiratory arrest. They brought him back to the beach but were unable to revive him. The shark had bitten the surfer on the arm and on the thigh. His wife was on the beach when the attack happened, and was treated for shock. The latest deadly shark attack means there have been two on the island this year, while three people have been killed by sharks in the past two years. Sharks are not man-eaters, but sometimes mistake humans for their natural prey, like seals or tortoises, and at other times hurt surfers as they ‘mouth’ them out of curiosity, experts say. Last year, 78 shark attacks were reported around the world, of which eight were fatal.

OKLAHOMA CITY—An Australian baseball player out for a jog in an Oklahoma neighbourhood was shot and killed by three “bored” teenagers who decided to kill someone for fun, police said.

Christopher Lane, who was visiting the town of Duncan, where his girlfriend and her family live, had passed a home where the boys were staying and that apparently led to him being gunned down at random, Police Chief Danny Ford said Monday. A 17-year-old in the group has given a detailed confession to police, but investigators haven’t found the weapon used in last week’s shooting, Ford said.

That teen and the others — ages 15 and 16 — remain in custody, and Ford said the district attorney is expected to file first-degree murder charges Tuesday. It wasn’t known if the three will be charged as adults or juveniles. They are to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.

“They saw Christopher go by, and one of them said: ‘There’s our target,’” Ford said. “The boy who has talked to us said, ‘We were bored and didn’t have anything to do, so we decided to kill somebody.’”

He said they followed the 22-year-old Lane, a student from Melbourne attending college on a baseball scholarship, in a car and shot him in the back before driving off.

Ford told the television station KOCO in Oklahoma City that one of the teens said they shot Lane for “the fun of it.”

“He didn’t deserve any of this,” Lane’s girlfriend, Sarah Harper, told the Australian Broadcasting Corp. “It’s heartbreaking that it was such a random choice those guys made that drastically altered so many lives in the process.”

Witnesses rushed to help Lane after hearing a shot Friday and seeing him stagger and collapse on a road in Duncan, a south-central Oklahoma town of about 24,000 residents.

“He was face down on the ground and he was shot in the back with a .22 revolver,” builder Richard Rhodes told Australian broadcasters near a roadside memorial at the scene. “I had another lady stop and we tried CPR on him. And he passed away right here.”

Harper said she and Lane had only returned to the United States from Australia last week.

Lane attended East Central University in Ada, about 137 kilometres west of Duncan. He started 14 games at catcher last year and was entering his senior year.

“He was an absolute joy to coach,” baseball coach Dino Rosato said in a statement issued by the school. “Chris was an extremely well-respected teammate. ... He set a great example for all of his teammates, but more importantly for the younger players. He was a mature student-athlete who his teammates could look to for advice and support.”

Peter Lane told Australian broadcasters there was no explanation for his son’s death.

“It is heartless and to try to understand it is a short way to insanity,” he said.

Ford wouldn’t say how many times Christopher Lane was shot. Autopsy results are pending.

Charging documents in Tuesday's shooting in Pigtown that left a young couple dead and two others seriously wounded show that the attack stemmed from a dispute over $10.
Melville Mason, 35, was formally charged with two counts of first-degree murder, four counts of attempted first-degree murder and numerous other charges, and is being held without bail in the killings of William Monroe and Meaghan Kerrigan.

Court records show that officers responding to the scene inside a home in the 1200 block of S. Carey St. found Kerrigan's one-year-old daughter, who was unharmed, sitting next to her body, patting her on the back.

Witnesses told police that Mason, known as "P.J.," broke into the home through a first-floor window propped open with a window fan and began firing, killing Monroe and Kerrigan, injuring two women, and firing at another woman and the infant. Mason allegedly left the home, obtained a new handgun, and returned through the same window and began firing again.
Inside, according to witnesses,

He was heard saying he was a "Creeper" and that "This is your worst nightmare." Tuesday who said Mason was overheard saying, "I am the Reaper."

Police said that Mason and "an occupant" of the Carey Street home had been in a dispute over money, with witnesses indicating that Mason was owed $10, charging documents say.

Motorcyclist hits bear at 140 km/h on B.C. highway

The bear was fine.

Published on Aug 22, 2013
From the BC RCMP press release:

The RCMP's Fraser Valley Traffic Services responded to a motorcycle accident on Highway 7 on June 30, 2013. The accident was believed to be a single motorcycle crash.

After ensuring the motorcyclist was receiving medical attention, the investigator quickly discovered the presence of video camera mounted on the driver helmet. The helmet and the video were seized at scene.

To their surprise police observed the motorcycle going for 0 km/h to over 140km/h in less than 20 seconds. Unfortunately, at the same time a train going by scared a young black bear, that ran across the highway directly in front of the motorcycle.

The driver made every effort possible to avoid the collision but to no avail. The driver of the motorcycle sustained significant though non-life threatening injuries, while the bear simply walked away.
