Bob, has anyone told you about the superhero fund yet? Paypal or cheque will do.

Robin, has anyone told you those gold Lamé shorts are a little...70's?? Super hero fund, my ass. You just want the new guy to pay for your next session, and I'm not falling for that a sixth time.

Bob, how is it a colorful character like yourself lacks an avatar?

I changed my mind, and went with a pic from the night I met oldguyzer for the first time.

I didn't expect you to have ever seen A Clockwork Orange; the inside joke was for Art Mann.

Alas, you young whippersnapper, you're waaay wrong. I read the book before the movie release (the book was named to the 100 Best English Novels by Time magazine in 2005). I saw Clockwork Orange in its original theatrical release in England, and have rewatched it probably two dozen times since then. As a Kubrick fan, and as a Burgess fan, I enjoyed the movie. Also, the sound track, which you probably know from Walter/Wendy Carlos, is quite clever early electronic, setting a standard for others to follow. Righty-right Billyboy?

In that case, your comment "And your life was forever changed" is so off target that it didn't even hit the wall. At the point in the film where the screen cap was made for the avatar, Alex' life hasn't yet been changed. Then it's changed. Then it's changed back. The ending of the film takes place before the narration at the beginning. That's why all of the narration in in the past tense. He's telling the story to his new Droogs, after he's been released from the hospital, where he is recuperating at the end of the film. The audio voice-overs take place in the present, but all of the video and dialog is in flashback. Most people get that by the fifth viewing, if not sooner.

My comment had absolutely nothing to do with Clockwork Orange, so your basic premise is faulty.

What do you mean it`s not Sunday, I am all pumped up about the Walking Dead episode that is suppose to be on Sunday.

I really need to sleep in on Sundays, why am I up so early??

I don't consider this to be up early. I won't be going to bed last night for at least another couple of hours. Either cut back on the caffeine suppositories, or get rid of the Job. They both prevent you from getting all of the sleep you want.

Well, post #63 was by me, to Art Mann, about my new A Clockwork Orange avatar, and in post #64, you quoted post #63, so you should be able to see why I would assume you would be responding to my remark from #63 in #64. If you had said nothing, or simply replied without quoting, or if you had replied with goat, we could have all had a good laugh, with you none the wiser.

In the scene from which the screen cap was taken, Alex is wearing his long 'penis nose' mask, and he's looking at the old geezer on the floor. He's in the process of saying "Viddy well, li'le brother, viddy well". I was really hoping to not have to explain all of that. That's why the joke was for Art Mann, (who doesn't need the explanation), and why it went over your head, as intended.

I understand that you feel threatened by my having diagnosed Anto's mumps without first referring him to a real former doctor. It would probably be a good idea if you sucked that up.

I teach computer skills two afternoons a week, and you've just been schooled. Appy polly lodgies.

I'm not going to answer this one, because it's not punctuated with a question mark.

Gene Kelly sure was pissed at you Singin' in the Rain

Is that him in the backseat trying to keep his hat on?

Or did you run into him at the Korova Milk Bar?

Wait, my mistake .... that's a younguyzer.

Technically, "It's not Sunday" is a statement, not a question. The interrogative would be "Is it not Sunday?" or "Is it not the case that it's Sunday?". In court, it would be "Isn't it true that it's Sunday?", but no one would ever say that, because the courts are closed on weekends, except tennis courts.

And you got banned from the other board for making stupid comments? Imagine that...

Yep, you got it. You threaten me. Absolutely. Gee, I'll never be able to hold my head up in public again.

Any time you want to compare technical credentials, put your money on the table and be prepared to lose, sonny.
