You may have actually made my point for me there Dan. Part of what I have been saying is that Cupid's pics don't entice me to book one of their girls. If I ever did book a girl with touched up photos and she came through the door and I was dissappointed as a result, well my response would be that at least she came through my door. Know what I mean? At least I booked her. That's the issue here, Cupid's pics are just not good enough for me to book.

- You are talking in the marketing aspect which makes sense but you are contradicting yourself.

- You want their pictures to look sexier so you can book them, let's say they do and you book one

Oh yes since we are in the subject. I wish other agencies stop photo shooting so much. I saw a favorite sp 2-3 months ago. She had gained 25 lb and looked nothing like her pictures. I have no problem with the weight it's just I was deceived.

Well, that's true I would be a little frizzled if a girl showed up not 100% of what she looks like in the photo, but I never said I was looking for Cupid's to do more photoshopping or in any way "cheat" clients by decreasing their picture trustworthiness. Sorry if I made that confusing, I guess I was trying to make too many points all at once and I ended up tripping over myself a bit. Sorry about that. However, I did mention it was ok if they wanted to photoshop bruises and stuff, basically the things that are not a permanent attribute of the lady, except of course tattoos and piercings because that might reveal the girls true identity and we wouldn't want that.

I merely want Cupid's to get more creative with their photos so that it will entice me to book.

I do agree, they would continue on with life just fine without listening to what I'm saying. But the current vote is still in favor of Cupid's getting new ones, but those who think they are fine the way they are is catching up.

I hate to break it to you mafusa but if you expect the woman to be exactly, 100% like she is in a picture, you're dreaming. Women's weight goes up and down 5 lbs depending on where they are in their cycle (water retention), what day of the week it is, their hair changes constantly, and they are always shown in the best light in the photos. So unless you see her within a couple of days of the photo shoot, she won't look 100% like it......

One other thing you have to consider: photo shoots are expensive and the agency pays 100% for them. So having multiple shoots for the ladies, say even every 6 months, that is cost prohibitive. I don't know how much you think they make off the ladies but per date, it ain't much.

I still don't understand how posing the woman on a bed, or on a bar stool, or in the middle of the living room floor will entice you.....

Never said that i'd expect them to be 100% like the picture, merely said it would probably frizzle me a bit if she wasn't, and clearly change of hair color and 5 lb. weight gain or loss doesn't matter, I never said it did, actually I said that sort of stuff is fine. Photshopping crazy large stretchmarks and 30 lb. weight difference is the type of stuff I was referring to in this case. Read my post again because I think that you already decided how you were going to respond before you even started reading it.

Also, the photoshopping and stuff we are talking about her was really secondary to the real reason I posted this thread. I posted this thread just to talk about the creativity problems with Cupid's pics, not photoshopping and stuff, that was all something that really developed from the subsequent posts after the original post was posted. So, try not to concentrate too much on that, let's go for the creativity part instead.

I am not saying they need to be 100%, nor am I saying pictures need a bed or whatever in the background, I was using these things as examples to say that maybe adding a little context to the pic, maybe add some kind of enjoyable or, at least, a familiar setting. Could be a bed though, not saying thats a bad idea or a good one, its just an idea.

Well, I can understand that but if a girl has crazy large stretchmarks and 30 lbs. overweight since her last photo session, then she needs new pictures, end of story. Spare me the bullshit about costs to the agency for pictures when they are constantly declared as a top agency with their ladies being booked solid all the time, you yourself said that with your slick remark that they won't miss me if I don't book. So your compassion for the agency operating costs for photography ain't gonna fly with me.

Also, you seem to be taking this a bit too personally. Your responses seem to lack adequate thought both in understanding what I'm saying and how your responding to it. If you would take a step back and come at me with a level head (objectively that is, rather than uber subjective, HA) then maybe we can have a meaningful discussion. The reason I enjoy the pictures from Cupid because I enjoy Art.

I do not want anything in the back ground...I want to see the women...I fine it is classy
I can see the women's form, their lines, I even get a sense of what they maybe like by the pose.
I enjoy the look of the women with the dark back ground....it is different from the other pictures which sets
them apart from other agencies.......Being different also works.....It catches the eye.....

Why pick on one agency.....if that the case we should have a topic on all the pictures....
What now, we are trying to tell the agencies even the Indies how they should take their pictures.
It seem to me that it is their business and if you do not like the pictures then do not look at them....

I can honestly say I have seen plenty of cupid's ladies over the years and their photos are not retouched in any way...least those that I've seen (and there's been tons!).

I like their style since they usually give a front, side and bum view, tastefully, without any flowery distractions. I mean it's nice to see a bed shot for example, but I'm not shopping for a bed, bar stool, kitchen counter, couch etc, I want to see what the lady looks like and they do that just fine.

Further to that, I find the beaver shots arousing, but IMO to me, they are not necessary in order for me to be interested in booking a lady.

These are just a few that I snaged off some sites. But I honestly think these girls are just hotter than anyone at Cupid's anyways. Like I said Cupid's pics seem dull and don't do the girls justice of how hot they really are in person.

That is not true. Not all agencies pay for the photos. Not all agencies pay the full cost. Some pay all, some charge the girl, some pay upfront and the girl re-pays, some make the girl pay the first shoot and if she stays on and works well, the agency pays her back.

Different agencies work differently.

Then compare them to some of Cupid's and figure it out for yourself...

Note: comparing 1 picture from Cupid's to 1 picture from another agency is obviously not going to mean anything. Try to get a feel for the entire collection from one agency to another and then try to make a decision objectively as to which agencies girls are more attractive in the pics in general. In my own opinion, Cupid's loses to a lot of the agencies that advertise on here and other boards.

I am picking on Cupid's because the pictures are no good in my opinion, and they are considered a top agency even by some members who posted on this very thread so why not criticise it. If it was some small time chicks on backpage I wouldn't even take a second to post anything about them. I am not a fool to think to actually think they'd would change their layout of photos from this one thread, but maybe it will lead them to make a little change here and there to increase their business while not losing Cupid's, some would say, trademark look for their pics. But don't bother asking me about some suggestions on what they should do, that would be up to them to decide if they consider increasing picture quality.
