Please allow me to introduce ourselves. We are TRAC, The Reputable Agency Council.

TRAC is a Canadian organization mandated to ensure that our Code of Conduct policies are maintained within our member Companion Agencies.
The Code of Conduct is designed to provide Companionship Agencies with a framework of rules and guidelines for fair and ethical representation. Membership indicates that an Agency is committed to maintaining ethical business practices within the companionship industry.

The objective of TRAC is to be recognized as a mechanism that can be used by companions, clients, and the general public to identify agencies that operate within a publicly defined code of conduct. In other words, becoming a member agency publicly declares your commitment to operate fairly and transparently.
TRAC is not just companion focused.

We also provide clients of the companionship industry a one stop resource. A happy companion makes for a happy client. By offering your patronage to member agencies you declare your commitment to a safe and ethical companion industry.

By virtue of membership, each agency is required to operate in a manner that:

  • Complies with the Code of Conduct set by the Council.
  • Allows contracting fair representation of Companions
  • Demonstrates their intent to provide fair and ethical representation within the industry
  • Provides companions associated with member agencies a formal and private complaints process
  • Protects client privacy and offers clients of member agencies a formal and private complaints process

The Council is governed by our Code of Conduct.

TRAC

Cool, so the agencies created their own league. Like the NBA, NHL, etc..

Gongrats!

The Reputable Agency Council (TRAC) was formed by a group of agency owners that wanted to establish an industry association that fostered transparency, fairness and mutual respect in our relationships with Companions and clients. While the genesis of TRAC began many years ago, the introduction of Bill C36, the Protection of Communities and Exploited Persons Act, created urgency in bringing this initiative forward as well as growing misconceptions about the industry, how we operate and our relationships with Companions. TRAC strongly believes in the importance of demonstrating that agencies can and do operate fairly and with integrity.

An important element of TRAC’s is to develop a framework for relationships between our various stakeholders, and to provide a private arbitration process that will hold member agencies accountable to our Code of Conduct. TRAC will also accept complaints involving non-member agencies. However, our ability investigate and impose penalties will be limited against non-members.

The Code of Conduct is designed to provide agencies with a framework of rules and guidelines to support the Companions whom they represent. To enforce the Code of Conduct, the Council administers a complaints process for Companions who are represented by member agencies.
Complaints are then reviewed by the appropriate Committee(s) of the Council. Committee membership is made up of members, Companions, and representatives of the public. Our goal is to resolve complaints quickly and fairly by the process outlined in the Council Bylaws.

Ultimately, the Council will provide Companions and clients with a means to lodge complaints against agencies and to identify those that operate within a framework of an ethical Code of Conduct.

We believe that the voluntary memberships of agencies to our regulations clearly demonstrate their commitment to our purpose.
To become a member of TRAC, please view our member’s pages, and/or contact us at [email protected].

So you also will have a review board?. By the way I read it, once a member you can interact with other members.

Absolutely but not in a review board type forum. Member agencies will be listed as a resource for both you as clients and for companions either already working in the industry or looking to get involved. All of the agencies involved would be happy at any time to discuss TRAC with you.
As we go along and more agencies apply for membership and the bylaws are put on the website for you to read you'll get a greater sense of what we hope to accomplish. We've spent many many months ( some of us years...) putting this together and hope that it will prove as valuable to the industry as a whole as we believe it to be.

as with any board that info should be available to members only

So who are you, a cartel of all the agencies?.

Why call yourselves a council?

1. an assembly of persons summoned or convened for consultation, deliberation, or advice.

2.a body of persons specially designated or selected to act in an advisory, administrative, or legislative capacity: the governor's council on housing.

3.(in certain British colonies or dependencies) an executive or legislative body assisting the governor.

4.an ecclesiastical assembly for deciding matters of doctrine or discipline.

It is a good beginning.

If the industry could come together and set solid standards and maintain them.
So much would be cleaned up. Nothing would please me more than eliminating under aged girls being forced into the industry or work it for that matter. The PROSECUTION of what is commonly known as a PIMP. The elimination of drugs from the industry.

Before you take shots at them, pay attention and see what comes of it.

Hi NoHassles,

All of the above really. By applying to be a member, agencies are committing to follow the code of conduct and bylaws set forth by the council. The board will not be known to the general public as there are non industry people on it.
By making that commitment, member agencies operate in a transparent manner so that you as a client or a companion can know that they are only dealing with those agencies that are run ethically and with integrity.

I hope this clarifies our position.

Thanks,
TRAC

Who would regulate your code of conduct, policies and bylaws?.

To view existing TRAC agencies' schedules. Do we have to be a member or you will still be advertising in the appropriate sites?.
