I believe that there should be consistent laws governing the sale of firearms across all states.
I believe there should be strict permits required prior to the sale of firearms.
I believe there should be mandatory weapons training courses upon the receiving of purchased firearm.
I believe there should be levels of qualifications to achieve to own different genres of firearms...handguns, rifles, etc...

The Second Amendment does not automatically ensure you are responsible and qualified to own a firearm.

This has nothing to do with enabling criminals or stopping them from gaining firearms. It does not ban or prevent legal citizens without a criminal background from owning a firearm.

I would like to see a Federal License rather than State licenses.

The catch 22 on the permit process is you have to have a pistol to obtain it and you need a permit to obtain a pistol.
