What the fuck is wrong with you people?.

But there it is....you don't mind the "C" word....but there was a big dust up about it a year or so ago. There were some people who couldn't take it. To THEM it was hate speech. If you combine all of the terms that all of the various people call "hate speech" you may not have anything left that you can say. Look at how offended some people are getting over terms like he and she (not here but in some circles). Anything that doesn't take into account every single possible human's feelings is suddenly considered a microagression or hate speech.

So I don't think it is that easy any longer and I think it is changing constantly as new groups step up to announce their offense at certain terms and whatnot.

I agree that we are all free to stay or go.

I disagree that it's a free country though.

That was Tboy who used the C word and Femmfatale who got her panties in a knot if I remember correctly.

Tboy stormed away never to be seen again, at least under the Tboy handle and it seems femfatale left too although I have my suspicions that she's still active under a new identity.

Too bad, he is actually a good guy that has helped many homeless and women in shelters. None were suppose to know but I had to say it.

I like him, don't agree with the slurs, but I always felt he was a kind heart underneath it all. I'll miss his presence.

You all know that most of us know each other personally?.

Prick was one of us. Mods, fix it before it's too late.

If you all know him so well then maybe you know why he would do what he did.

Why use the slurs if he is he is such a good guy? Does he go up to a gay man and call them what he was here? Would he be coming up to me and say "Hi, cunt" if he saw me in the street? I amgoing to go out in a limb and assume no.

Why start this thread if mods spoke to him privately? Why keep saying the words over and over and clearly with the intention of causing exactly what happened here?

He purposely kept pushing the envelope to see how far he could go. So my question is why? Why the need to play into his online persona so much?

I believe when you guys say he is a good guy IRL. It really begs the question of why do this then?

Too many people seem to think they can behave one way online so long as they are "good guys" IRL. But then are you a "good guy" when you purposely behave this way?

I think you would all agree that if someone came into your house and continued to disrespect the rules, and clearly with purposeful intent, you would tell him to leave too. No one takes it well when someone is purposely trying to push their buttons.

He started this whole thing by using those slurs in a thread where a poster, with as much right to respect as anyone else here, was asking about M to F trans SPs available thru an agency. Prick replied with homophobic slurs, was rude to that person and basically let it be known that their kind are not welcome here. THAT is the good guy and how this all started. That is the post he was PMed about and then he came and made this thread in his "defence"

So what was left to do, say ok Prick - go ahead and keep using inappropriate language?

I just don't get why using the F word was so damn important to a "good guy".

Good riddance if he can’t show basic respect to people.

It’s not “just a word” if it’s thrown about in a hateful way.

Hi Robin, I don't you personally, but I have met a few HUBGFE guys at various industry parties etc All of them, have been nice guys.

Jessica, IMHO, Prick was just joking around. Every one is so politically correct these days. We're not on a knitting site here, it's an escort review board. I don't even bother posting on twitter anymore, I just lurk. I'm afraid of getting blocked more on twitter, then I already have---LOL

If you don't congratulate SP's for raising their rates to $400--450/hr, then you get blocked---LOL

However, I still like being on twitter to scout SP's, but I will never post any negative comments anymore.

Sorry Primo, the administration of this board, any other board and or any media platform has the responsibility to ensure slurs, hate speech, etc are not used on their site.

It is not censorship, it is responsibility. You can discuss your opinions of gay people without using a homosexual slur.

What she said

Even "good" people say and do stupid things sometimes, it doesn't make them "bad" people. I think we need to first and foremost stop labelling people by ethical standards that aren't going to be the same for everyone.
That being said, no one is saying he SHOULD be saying those things, I think people are just expressing sadness over the banning of a long time member who, "good" or "bad" was well liked by most regardless. Kinda like the drunk uncle at family gatherings :wink2:
I think the mods did right by messaging him and trying to work WITH him first, but I also understand that him, and many others, don't want to be censored. There has to be a middle ground somewhere, just don't know what that would be.

He will and has.

Does he go up to gay man and call them what he was here?

No he was speaking his mind.

He purposely kept pushing the envelope to see how far he could go.

It was not a joke. Not the first time, second time or third time. It was purposeful and made to cause a reaction.

It is not cenrsorship. His opinion was not censored at all. His hate speech use of individual words were removed and he was polite asked repeated not to use them in the expression of his feelings.

He was not banned for speaking his mind. He was banned for his choice to continue to disrespect the mods and their rules.

If you also think that the mods editing and not wanting homosexual slurs on the board as being censorship, then there is really nothhing I can say.

He will and has.

Does he go up to gay man and call them what he was here?

If he really does go up to gay men and tell them to get there "fa%#@t" ass out of here, then he is not a good person. That is disgusting behaviour on a site but directly to a person is a whole other level of disgusting.

Anyways - I didn't ban him. I do however support the editing of the words. I support the mods in not wanting to see words like that used on the site. I thank the mods for addressing this issue the best way they could.

And if Prick could have acted appropreaitely and maturely, he would not have been banned.

He made his choices. Now he can live with them. EOD

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Jessica has now spoken! This discussion is now officially over because she has decreed it shall be so! Let there be no more free speech on this topic lest ye too be arbitrarily judged and banned as an offender of the pure and virtuous of this forum! So it shall be written! So it shall be done!

Very indicative of the direction this board appears to be taking.

Heaven forbid you think I was talking and telling you something personally - please oh grand master, please allow me to clarify.

The discussion is over for me now. Thanks for playing.
