Being marginalized, targeted and insulted doesn't mean you have free reign to insult back.

You had the floor, you could have addressed the issue in a different way that would help teach others and by extension make a positive change for you and your community. That is what I tried to do. I am not LGTBQ2. I am a straight white heterosexual female. I tried to show the difference between opinion and hate speech. I tried to show the responsibility of media platform owners in this regard. I tried to show that there is no need for the language used. I would do the same for the N word, the R word, etc.

However, like others - you are free to speak your mind too. It is just disappointing when you had a chance to really rise above it and you choose to sink to his level. IMHO of course.

I'll admit that being patient towards people who openly oppress marginalized individuals (which in the case of Prick it's fun and games for him) is not something I am particularly strong in. But he knew he had it coming. When you say slurs like the F word or the T word to dehumanize LGBTQ people you WILL make them angry and to say otherwise is to say that people like us are not allowed to be angry against our oppressors. But yes you're right maybe I have taken it too far and I'm sorry.

My question to you, is that why is the word "cis" used?? Cis, according to Wikipedia, "just means the sex you were assigned at birth." So why can't you just say heterosexual white male, instead of "cis" white male??

Is this a life-time ban for Prick? He has been banned before and returned plenty of times and I also recall him quitting a few times and returning. He has certainly said a lot of things over the years on the boards to offend people including words that had a long-lasting effect on some. He has also shown moments of humility and sweetness and loyalty that I personally hold a higher value to and will miss.

Gender identity and sexual orientation are two completely different things. For instance, I am gender non-binary (I identify as neither gender though one could argue I prefer to put up a female persona online) but I am attracted to cis-gender women. You can be MtF attracted to F, MtF attracted to M, FtM attracted to F, or FtM attracted to M. Completely different concepts.

Gender and sex are also completely different. Sex is your sex chromosomes, XX or XY. Gender is whether you are male or female.

Scapegoating tactics basically. Society using vulnerable marginalized people like trans people as scapegoats for serious crimes (i.e. rape, sexual assault) that are 95% committed by cisgender heterosexual men. A pathetic way to beat around the bush instead of acknowledging that patriarchy is the problem.

Trolls and toxic hatemongers occur everywhere and this is no different. In fact I would argue this whole HUBGFE forum isn't particularly friendly towards LGBT people (something that I had tried to voice about in the past). Browse one forum about transgenderism and you see a bunch of people invalidating their experiences as female and/or trying to prove using "scientific" studies that transgenderism doesn't exist and that there's "only two genders". It's year 2018 and people still have a lot to learn.

One thing I like about Prick though is that he's honest... almost too honest. He's not going to candycoat to you that he's homophobic and transphobic; no he'll just tell you straight up he despises them like the plague. So thank you Prick for being an honest individual.

CA, I think the problem is that a lot of guys like myself on HUBGFE ( who are in their late 40's to mid 50's), just don't understand this whole gender thing, as we didn't grow up learning about it.

Even a journalist like David Menzies (the 1st you tube video I posted), is confused about the whole 31 gender thing etc

True. I often forget that I'm WAYYY younger than the average age of clients on this site. LGBTQ rights hasn't really been a thing ever since the late 2000s I believe. Young, unmarried and single; my perspectives is definitely different from that of many clients on this forum.
