bazerko - you're probably not far from the truth in your assumption. I would guess that 90% of my clients are married. Some, their spouse knows that they indulge and are fine with it, but for most, each rendezvous is absolutely a very private and confidential encounter.

Do you believe most men engage in this type of sexual behaviour more so because it is a forbidden fruit or is it because they lack intimacy at home with their present partners? Personally, I think the answer to your questions is that men and women will seek out the services of a professional when they can't find what they need to satisfy a particular social or sexual need within mainstream relationships. Their current relationship status has little to do with their need to satisfy their intimate cravings, although the impact of achieving that sense of satisfaction and fulfillment can have pretty significant repercussions on existing relationships if not kept discreet.
Baz: I'll answer you, I'm single, and why do I partake?
A couple of reasons:
1) I do not have the time nor the inclination to "play the game" as it were to chase after a woman who frankly, doesn't want to be caught. I can't tell you how many times I've met someone, got her number, asked her out countless times, then given up only to find out via mutual friends that she actually liked me and was curious as to why I stopped calling? I mean WHAT THE HECK???? (cleaned up since you're baz lol).
2) I have found that the women I'm attracted to, aren't attracted to me. Most of the women in my age group closely resemble my grandmother. You know, boobs down to here and gut up to here?
I was talking with some guys at work the other day about this and one of them said "hey ______ you're no supermodel yourself"...I said "I know that, but do I look 65? am I fugly? Both answers were no, so I said "do you think I'm in relatively good shape"? Yeah, of course, you can't do this job if you weren't....so I said "so why should I accept a woman who is 40 lbs overweight and gets out of breath getting off the couch? When I was 20 yrs old, I had a 30 inch waist. I now have a 32 inch waist.....that's 31 yrs later.
3) Why should I settle for someone I'm not 100% compatible with? I have heard constantly for the past 20 yrs how it is verboten for women to consider "settling" for anything other than their dream man. I feel the same way. Why should I settle for anything less than my "dream" woman? I know, the double standard applies, women shouldn't settle but if guys don't, they're too picky.
4) I don't believe me should have to "chase" women. It boils down to this: if you're single, and a decent looking single guy asks you out, you say fucking yes....end of story. (unless of course he's picking his nose while he asks you lol).
5) I'm the type of guy that grows on you. I don't know why but i make lousy first impressions. In the past, I've basically hounded women to go on a date with me and (like many) they had an infinite number of reasons why they shouldn't. A few finally relented and said yes. 3 of them ended up dating me constantly for 5+ years.
and the bottom line: (this is a great analogy):
I'm like a farm dog lying on the grass in front of the farm house. A car would go zooming down the road and I'd go chasing after it....coughing from the dust, paws all torn from the gravel and I'd never catch it.
I finally learned: if the car wanted to be caught, it would stop in front of the house....
that's me, I'm that farm dog. I'm here, I'm out and about, and there are a lot of decent women around. If they want to be caught they should stop right in front of me......
But the chase is the best part :-Cool/"
Then after a couple of months the high is gone and I get bore. Does it happen to some of you?.
