Agreed. I'm sure there are other countries and cultures who do similar things though. Heck, I watched a documentary once about how chickens were slaughtered. They were essentially boiled alive to help make de-feathering them easier. Basically, the machine blade that slices their necks doesn't always cut deep enough, or the blood doesn't drain from their body fast enough to kill them before they are dipped in boiling water.

Can't condemn an entire country for actions individuals. Change doesn't happen over night but I hope from the bottom of my heart that the culture of indifference that seems so prevalent in China changes some day.
