There was no choice but to vote Ford in.
You could not keep the Liberals and I could never vote for a party that is clearly way to far left and slowly turning into the party of the immigrant people.
Not that I don't want immigrants in our political system, but the NDP are just going too hard right now. The push for a sanctuary province, the push for huge religious accommodations and socialist spending they promised is just going ovecommunity and will bankrupt this country/province.
I know my opinion is the unpopular one to speak of but I can't not support a party that wants to scrap law for regilous reasons. If you can not wear something over your Turpin because that is rules your God set forth for you, then you need to speak to him about an exception to ride a motorcycle. You do not have a "right" to drive. You have the privilege to drive. If your God doesn't allow/support that privilege then sorry not sorry. You have to make a choice. And that choice is not to change laws that are out on the books for safety. This is what the NDP federal leader wants to do. If he wants to do that, what other laws is he willing to change for the country based on his personal regilous beliefs?
Sanctuary province???? I don't think so. We already have health care issues and you want to make sure that people who illegally come to our province get health care, dental care, housing, welfare, and other social programs? How about we get the homeless off the street first before we open the door to anyone person who can make it here. And yes, most illegally entered people are "fleeing" something somewhere but we have processes for that. We have enough criminals, we don't see to support those who come here illegally by rewarding said criminal behaviour with a welfare cheque.
Thankfully, the people of Ontario where smart and did not let the NDP in. Too many just skipped the platform(probably why it was close to a hundred pages, makes things easier to hide) and wanted for vote NDP because they kept the things they like from the Liberals and scrapped the shit they didn't. Like the teachers union support.
However, most knew the shit show we would have with the NDP. Ford was the lesser of two evils here. There was no choice. Ford had to be elected and he was.
