You're age gaps are reasonable and I can accept these as plausible but I cannot accept an 18 to 30 year old young woman being interested in a plus 50 year old gentleman for anything more than $$$$. I would say the same thing about a young man and an older woman.

I've come across many well educated individuals who are plain stupid when it comes to life and common sense. Yes they are experts in their chosen field but it ends there. I look at it that if you stop paying the commitment becomes the payment because then she will have more access to your funds. Do you believe if at this point you decided commitment is the route to go she would be inclined to accept your invitation?

So? Does that mean a 50 year od and a 20 year old can't love each other for more than money or sex? Just because you're too narrow minded to accept that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Different is good...that's what makes life interesting. And if the younger one wants to do something the older one doesn't, or vice versa, if you love each other it's not a problem. Simply assuming the two can't be together for anything other than money and sex is ignorant and judgmental. Oh yeah, I forgot...you're not judgmental at all, are you?

I have been watching this thread with interest and seeing everyones opinion is intriguing to me as I have a bit of an arrangement now. Dont kid yourselves as men we pay for it one way or another, wives and kids cost way more than a girl for hire. A mistress that you 'dont' pay for sex costs more than a girl for hire too, dinners drinks etc,then they bring headaches too, trust me ive been down that path and not going there again. So the lady for hire is the simplest way to have fun on the side. In this case you pay directly for the sex and the goal for both is to keep the emotions out of it. I agree with the point about paying for the sex keeping it from crossing the line, it is a line to be weary of though. I have no problem paying for sex with an incredibly hot girl who makes me feel good and younger than I know I am, to me its something I cant put a price tag on. It feels like having a mistress or an affair without the bs. As was alluded too the lady for hire could be completely playing the client, but does it really matter, its all part of the package. Keep it in perspective so you dont cross the line.

You seem to be living two lives. One with your wife and kids if you have any and one with the lady for hire. If you don't mind me asking, do you attend social events, movies, out for dinner ect. with your lady for hire or are all activities strictly conducted behind closed doors? I can read between the lines and see Oagre obviously is single and seems to lead one life trying to decide between commitment or business arrangement. The other example is Oldguyzer who does seem to be in a somewhat of a committed relationship with a woman who started as a lady for hire, again leading one life or lets say one identity. Strictly from a financial aspect I do believe you are the worst off Muckin because you are having to support a family (if children are involved) and mistress. Then again most married individuals using ladies for hire are using their disposable income to foster business relationships with young women they feel they need to pay for services. My question still remains, do any of you believe these young women would be with you if they were not being compensated for their time. Is it merely just another part of the job for them or do you believe they actually have emotional ties to you? I live at home with Ida, no children and strictly a one woman man. I drink occasionally, do not do drugs and although many here make jokes about me being a religious zealot, I am not. Yes we attend services and believe in a higher power but we never go out preaching religion to anyone and rarely is it brought up at social gatherings besides being a topic of conversation like politics or current events. I live a vanilla lifestyle which works for me and I do realize everyone is different and takes different paths in life.

Its a win win.
