To expond on the analogy a bit more....I know this is a "locker room" due to the following. I belong to a number of other forums. Namely Redflagdeals, HD forums, etc. and have been banned from eharmony's, and had temp bans from POF and Match.com for the following:
1) I have used the word "fuck" or variations at least 10 times here so far this week. On any other site I would be warned the first time, and banned the second time. The word "fuck" is a common term in a men's locker room.
2) Here we men rate women's pictures. This would NOT be tolerated on any other mainstream forum.
3) Here men discuss women, something that is commonly done in a locker room
4) Here men discuss ex-wves, ex-girlfriends and fucking them, something commonly done in a locker room.
5) Here we post naked pictures of women, something usually stuck to the door inside of a locker.....which is located in a...wait for it....ROOM hence why it is called a...wait for it....LOCKER ....ahem...ROOM
If you (bliss) don't like the analogy, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.......

I prefer to view the board as open clubhouse rather than a locker room. A locker room implies exclusivity and I would like it to remain a place where POVs from both sexes are exchanged openly.

You're right about that, Transient. An open clubhouse is far preferable to a male locker room. It's good to have comment and viewpoints from both genders. This would be a very dull forum without the voices of the ladies who contribute here.

Gender differences exist and to deny that they do is just stupid, male and female brains are fundamentally different, PET and MRI scans have shown that and if we allow and appreciate those differences and how we interact with each gender without placing a value on which trait is better is the key, whether feminine or masculine, each trait has it's good and bad qualities, and not making any judgements based on that is crucial.
But we are different, no denying that but to treat a woman as "one of the guys" or expect her to do the same in a forum is a ridiculous.... better then to make it a "male gender-only" forum. Cause this princess likes her tiara and expects to treated like the princess she is, whether in or out of the locker room. (And I am being over-the-top, and tongue-in-cheek here.... just saying)
