I know you say you want to stick up for the vulnerable people and won't put some on ignore but seriously, you are not actually sticking up for anyone when the person you are speaking to is either a) having a fuck of a laugh at your expense because they are trolling or b) have it so ingrained in their head that no matter what you say, they will never see the point.

You need to learn that some people just want to push your buttons because of how you fly off emotionally. It is a laugh to them. It is fun to them, but it is serious to you.

They are playing a game, you are not. So no matter what, they are winning to them because you are not even playing the game. See what I mean?

It's kind of sad to see 40-60 year old grown men act like little 16 year old adolescents, and me being roughly half their age teaching them shit like I'm some kind of teacher. But being someone who sort of needs practice on my assertiveness skills and to face my anxiety, arguing with these trolls helps to improve both, and what'd you know - neither Robertson nor Damien scare me one bit. My responses may have been futile but not entirely futile.

I'm involved in disability rights activism groups and one day when society changes for the better these two dipshits would look back and recognize why they were entirely wrong... hopefully that is.
