So help me out here people.

If a person is born a male for example, but prefers to be thought of as a female, and dresses as one.

If this person is attracted to males, would that not mean this person is gay ?

Or if this person was attracted to females, would that not make this person a lesbian.

And let the childish insults begin.

Anybody want to guess whether not not that book author had artificial insemination ?

Seems that a current craze is for women to have babies without fathers/husbands, conveniently forgetting were sperm comes from, and now the rest of society is required to take care of them, when they are unable to hold a job.

But hey, they feel empowered.

Sexual orientation and gender identity are two completely different things.

Gender-assigned-at-birth and gender are also two completely different things.

I see no reason for childish insults because the logic is as easy as that.

Now you're just spewing dumb shit.

Like sure... single mothers totally WANT to be single mothers... not like as if they are marginalized and that most of them live in poverty and to top it all off they are continuously being attacked and scapegoated by sexist bigots like yourself.

Personally if a woman wants to be a single mother, provided that the unknown donor does not get tracked down (that would be unfair to the unknown donor) that's totally her choice and if tax money is being used to benefit two people and help them afford basic living necessities I would totally support it.

I admit, even after researching it, I still don't understand this whole Trans gender situation. However, if it even prevents one suicide of a person in the trans community, by being able to get a non binary birth certificate, then I'm all for it!!

I'm confused. Joshua Ferguson looks like a woman, but does she want to be known as a man?? Does Joshua Ferguson have a penis or a vagina??

So which of the 31 genders does Joshua Ferguson, want to be addressed by?? Sorry for my stupidity on this topic, but I'm in my mid 50's, and I didn't grow up with all these non-binary choices.

As I previously said in another thread, in my day, you were either a man or a woman. That was it!!

Your questions aren't stupid at all. I'm just as confused, as you are---LOL

Let us know when you decide to answer my question in my post that you quoted.

If you can't respond with an answer to a post that asked a question, especially when my post did not quote you, best to just shut up then, isn't it.

So if you don't agree with someone's logic, that entitles you to childishly insult ?

Just can't post without insults, can you, is that also considered a "disability" ?

Let me explain this to you, there is actually a difference between a single women CHOOSING to be a single parent, and those who had no choice.

And one must also consider a women who "got pregnant", and the guy then decides to say good by, or was always a loser from the beginning, that would be a choice also.

And no, if a women chooses to be a single parent, society should NOT have to support her unnatural decision, she made her bed, she can live in it, as she has chosen, by herself.

@ROBERTSON, I'll probably get into trouble as usual, but I kind of agree with you. IMHO, unless you're financially comfortable and have a good stable job, then you probably shouldn't have kids in the first place. As usual, just my opinion!!

So the solution is to let the mother and child suffer from poverty?

You don't know the situation between the mother and father. You may say she CHOOSES to be a single mother, but she would argue otherwise that she had no choice. You may label the father as a "loser" but you don't know him and he would say he lives in poverty and could not afford child care.

Also what about the child? Did the child choose to be born into a single motherhood? Should the child suffer from poverty because of his or her mother's decision that he or she never made?

I agree that it's better not to have children if one is in a financially vulnerable situation. I for instance don't ever want children because of my social disability and current minimum-wage job. However, once the "accident" happens and the mother and child is living in poverty, the solution is to make sure they are well treated and fed. I would fully support taxes being spent to make sure of that.

I believe in harm reduction. I'm the type of person who thinks that the solution to prevent people from drowning is not to ban lifejackets, but to make sure that there are plenty of lifejackets.

Of coarse the child should not have to suffer, but to condone what these women have chosen by "accident" to do, only encourages more of this to happen, when there is already far to much of this.

Care to respond to my original point about women choosing to be a single parent BEFORE an avoidable "accident".

Do you support women making the decision to have a baby with no intention to have a father for the child ?

You sex is genetic...that's what goes on the birth certificate, right? Did they change something?

If you keep pushing to make everything meaningless, then you'll be able to push for anything you want. Somehow it ends up leading to more government intervention which leads to communism which leads to a total lack of freedom. Which communist country is the most friendly towards the LGBT community?

I just don't get all the hubbub!

ROFL

Like hell you know about communism. Or the term "gender non-binary".

I think if she wants to be a single mother then she has EVERY right to do so, provided that the paternal donor would not be involved in the child rearing or care (because it would not be fair to him). And I think tax money should be used to support everyone in need, INCLUDING people living in poverty like single mothers.

Seriously, what's with your animosity towards single mothers? How do you feel about heterosexual married couples who, statistically, have a higher rate abandoning their child than single mothers?

putting someone on ignore should cover quotes........

but to answer your question, civilly....

a genetic male who identifies as female and is attracted to males is seen as straight.

a genetic male who identifies as female and is attracted to females is seen as a lesbian.

the rest of the world SHOULD go based on what they identify as. unfortunately, this isn’t widespread or accepted knowledge and contributes to much of the distress these groups have.

joshua ferguson identifies as non-binary; therefore, using the pronouns they/them. THEY don’t identify as either male or female. THEY may have a penis or vagina, that is up to THEM to disclose. whether THEY identify as gay or straight, is also up to them regardless of what THEY look like or the fact that THEY were born as a genetic male (from what i recall in the article).

p.s. really not trying to come across as angry with the capital letters, just trying to emphasize the use of correct pronouns.

this thread has gone waaaayy off topic. just wanted to say i’m glad they finally made this move and congratulations!!
