Sorry if this thread took a turn towards discussing about single mothers but that post from Robertson really tilted me so I had to really refute his argument.

It would be nice if the majority of cis-heterosexual males here JUST ONCE try to listen to others and accept other people's boundaries, and not just SP's. If a gender non-binary individual tells us to use "they/them" pronouns, we should use they/them pronouns. If a gender non-binary individual tells us not to judge them based on their genitalia, we should keep their genitalia OUT of our discussion unless they consented to.

No need to go all "scientific" and shit towards gender non-binary individuals because let's face it - the cis-heterosexual males here never been through the experience of being gender non-binary so they have no right to dictate how they should experience their lives.

no don’t apologize! i know how that feels lol like i said, it’s brownman with a dictionary. just as annoying. i agree with what you said about single mothers. he doesn’t know the hardship it takes to be a single mother and never will.

but they aren’t educated when it comes to LGBTQ2S+, and should be. least i could do!

but to answer your question, civilly....

a genetic male who identifies as female and is attracted to males is seen as straight.

a genetic male who identifies as female and is attracted to females is seen as a lesbian.

the rest of the world SHOULD go based on what they identify as. unfortunately, this isn’t widespread or accepted knowledge and contributes to much of the distress these groups have.

joshua ferguson identifies as non-binary; therefore, using the pronouns they/them. THEY don’t identify as either male or female. THEY may have a penis or vagina, that is up to THEM to disclose. whether THEY identify as gay or straight, is also up to them regardless of what THEY look like or the fact that THEY were born as a genetic male (from what i recall in the article).

p.s. really not trying to come across as angry with the capital letters, just trying to emphasize the use of correct pronouns.

yeah, generation definitely has an impact. all they ask, is for you to use the correct pronouns and accept who they identify as once you understand what it means! they are just regular people like us

the fact that you’re trying means the world to these people. thank you!!! it’s always just good to know in the case same as how it was when you first talked to someone who’s gay, or a policeman or anything really. just another schema to place in your mind. they usually don’t mind questions or even blunders as long as you know to correct them! i made mistakes back then too lol

i’m sure you don’t irritate them, i had a few regulars with asperger’s and they all had kind hearts i know what it feels like to think you’re irritating the world with your disability though lol

Thanks, @, for your excellent comments. Quick question for you. You said you had a few regulars, who had aspergers?? Do you think a female SP who had Aspergers could survive in this industry?? My initial response, would be "no way."

What would your opinion be?? My reasoning is that each client an SP sees is so different, that a female SP, who had aspergers, would get too confused with all the changing complexities, and probably have a meltdown??

I just basically try and find SP's, who are maybe not so new to the industry. Meaning they've seen a lot of different clients, so they know how to adapt. It's interesting some SP's have heard of Aspergers, and some SP's haven't. Therefore, I Irritate some SP's, more then others---LOL

I also tend to do well with SP's who have bubbly personalities themselves. I do absolutely awful with shy and quiet sp's!!

i’d say escorting might be a bit too overstimulating for someone with Asperger’s but some just have one client a day and thats okay! i think it could be done if that person has learned social and coping skills in a treatment program or something, there are so many varying degrees of each illness so you never know! many even without ASD prefer bubbly SPs anyway hahahah no one likes an awkward session.

i think you should still ask away! trans, non-binary etc. are not “bad words”, people are just afraid sometimes to use correct terminology when they don’t know much. goes for any other unknown topic! just try to be as respectful as you can, and i’m sure they would be happy to answer. you can never learn without making a few mistakes, i sure did back then.
